Honestly very disappointed with the food, it was just not good, for them to have increased their prices I will also like to see that being reflected in the food. Also an updated menu would be nice in the website. Staff, do not know anything about the menu, if you work in a restaurant, you need to be familiar with the food just because you come from a different background does not mean you can’t learn about the food you are selling, just a thought. Won’t be trying again for sure. Bad experience.

I’m honestly so disappointed in this place. I ordered the ahi tuna. It cost $30 for the tiniest piece of fish and a mountain of rice. The fried rice was literally just white rice tossed in soy sauce, no veggies eggs or meat. My fiancée ordered the chicken parmesan. The sauce was watery, and the pasta and chicken were mushy. We payed $65 for two meals and both left hungry. Worst $65 I’ve spent, not to mention the server was very rude.Honestly I think this restaurant focuses so much on being a “hip, cool hangout” that they don’t care about the food. Maybe focus less on your image and more on the food and customers.

We were seated and waited 20 minutes to be greeted, never were so we left. Have been before and the food is amazing but the service is certainly lacking. Isn’t the first time I’ve been and had issue with the service. Food is excellent it’s a shame they can’t seem to find a way to provide reliable service.

I was Overcharged $55 on my bill but didn’t realize until the next day. I went back to the restaurant and spoke with Eric the manager who immediately gave me a gift card for the amount. He even bought my lunch. Excellent customer service , excellent sushi and Kudos to the management for making things right Thank you Eric!!

Would make review lower if I could. The host was very nice, BUT the atmosphere quickly went downhill. We waited an hour for our food, no one stopped to tell us anything or check on us. Three parties ordered, ate, and left by the time we received our food. When we finally asked, our food came out almost immediately and was COLD. The food did not taste good at all, would recommend Mcdonald’s over this. Server only cared about us when the checks were passed out. I am not one to complain ever but I am speaking the truth and am very disappointed. We all left angry, still hungry, but no appetite left.

The manager here, Allie, is the most sweet and professional lady I've came I'm contact with so far. She was welcoming and kind and highly recommend stopping in, having a martini on the rooftop and enjoying the atmosphere and friendly waitresses. Ask for Alice!

Decided to try this restaurant while on vacation due to its attractive curb appeal. This was a terrible mistake. The interior, even during limited seating because of CoVid was noisy and chaotic. How noisy? I could not hear the woman trying to seat us. We finally were seated in a outdoor back pavilion. This was mistake number 2. There was no waitress and the overstressed bartenders had to double as waitstaff. After waiting an extended period time for service, we requested to see the manager. He told us flatly that there was no service other than what was available. We have no idea about the food. We left in frustration due to a manager that apparently can't manage a one car funeral let alone a busy late dinner rush.

The food and service was phenomenal! My wife's Bloody Mary was the best one she has ever had. It was the cucumber one with top shelf vodka. For the price and the serving size it's the best place we've eaten in Myrtle Beach. Definitely recommend to any and every one to stop by and try it.

Atmosphere was nice and electic. Food was good. Just needs a bit of updating, looks a bit run down in certain areas, the menus were really used up, (we sat rooftop) the cups has no lids on them so were constantly trying to swat flies away from drinks etc...but overall fun.

Be prepared to pay 20% more than the listed menu price. They deceptively change the price when the bill comes. Food portions are way too small for the price. Highly recommend going somewhere else.

Sushi was delicious, but here’s the problem: I ordered two rolls for $31 and the bill came in 20% higher than the price on the menu. I questioned it, and the server replied that “due to Covid-19, we’re adding 20% to the proteins.” He agreed that wasn’t noted on the sushi menu and he neglected to inform us when ordering, so I unfortunately needed to back off the extra 20% from his tip. It’s unfortunate that businesses would rather scam their patrons and hope it goes unnoticed to make up for lost revenue during Covid-19 than mention the added fee.

I want to give a big shout out to Joe, manager, for accommodating our large party of 19. With the virus pandemic SoHo was very grateful and nice to us. The waitress Julia was the best. They were short handed and she ran her buns off waiting on our whole party. She had a very good personality and was very personable. It took a long time to get our food but I tell you the wait was well worth it. And if you get the chance to visit ask for Julia and order the hibachi salmon. It was magnificent.

The food for the most part was delicious. My daughters fish was full of tiny bones but they replaced it with a better piece. Our waitresses was okay, she had a dry personality but did her job. My biggest complaint is that they added a 20% up charge to all the bills due to the Corona virus. It’s understandable that they are trying to recoup from the time they had to close but they did not tell us about the up charge until we questioned our bills. Maybe tell your customers when you seat them that the prices in newly printed throw away paper menus are not correct. Perhaps at the least post it on the door where patrons enter.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We decided to eat because it seemed a nice and cool place. We went to the rooftop ordered a couple of sushi’s NOT GOOD at all. My husband ordered a beer took forever and the taste was weird, like there was something wrong with it. It does not worth the price plus we weren’t told in any moment that the restaurant is charging 20% more due the COVID. Poor service, manager doesn’t seem care much about customer service.

My boyfriend and I went there last night looking for a nice date night spot. We both had their hibachi dinners and it was great. Service was good as well. I ordered a mixed and it so watered down, not even sure there was actually liquor in it. Tasted like watered down juice. We sat on their roof top to eat dinner, where there were two guys drunk out of their minds. They talked to us the entire time during our meal and wouldn’t leave us alone. Table next to us also felt uncomfortable and told management.. Manager came out and did not kick them out after repeated warnings.

Fantastic drinks, everything was perfect except ahi tuna (too thick) and surf and turf (w/ lobster) was overcooked. But we probably tried 90% of the menu over 3 visits and loved it all, will return again for sure.

The service was wonderful and the food was great! The upstairs terrace has a very chill but classy vibe and I only wish we could've gone at night to see all the lights lit-up! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive!

When I go on vacation, I usually never eat in the same place twice in one week. However, the food here was so good that I couldn’t resist going back to it. The service was friendly, the place looks very contemporary and clean. Anytime I come to Myrtle Beach, I am going to make it a point to make sure this is one of the first places I visit. Well done.

Be careful guys this place increased prices for 20% without telling you! Check your bill ! Even they said they charge 20% extra because of covid-19, but on the bill it was almost 35% more!!! Be careful!!! That food and environment does not cost those money ! Also, a person next to us was coughing and nobody properly clean table after her. Food was so so ! Disappointed! Ruined all our Father’s Day! We went to different places in that area and this restaurant was not a good experience! Other restaurants were amazing !! Will not recommend and will never come back!

If you're looking for sushi go elsewhere. This place is a joke! Their sushi prices went up by 20% and even their "entry" level tiny sushi rolls are a joke and super small servings but price-wise are what you'd pay for "specialty" rolls elsewhere. Be warned! We won't be coming back. High reviews have deceived us.

Had the Myrtle beach roll, bonsai tree roll, and the a big fried roll that I can’t remember. All were amazing! I had the sweetest waitress. She gave us insight to amazing places to visit. I woke this morning to find my card gone and was panicked. We are in town to do a tubal reversal so we can have a baby. My remaining balance was in that card. I called, this place was honest and amazing, they still had my card that I had left on the table. Because of them, I can still have my surgery. If this was anywhere else, my heart would of been broken and this trip could of been the worst time of my life. Amazing food, honest staff, and gorgeous roof top. Thank You Soho!

I had a very great experience here at soho , their bar drinks are so smooth I really recommend the Hana white Fuji Apple drink ! The music and atmosphere is super inviting and it’s packed in a good way that’s how you know the food and environment is a fun place to socialize at. I definitely will be coming back food was very fresh as well ❤️ Ask for Joe he’ll definitely take care of you he’s the best !

What a shame. I understand these are trying times and we are all feeling it. But it tack on 20% to a persons bill because of food shortage is not the proper way to conduct business. This used to be one of my favorite spots. But I will never return here again even after all this mess cleared up. $67 for two people for dinner with no alcohol just sweet teas and two hibachi plates it’s outrageous.

Outstanding sushi and hibachi! We ordered the yummy roll, the hawaii roll, and a hibachi combo. It was all phenomenal. Usually I prefer more strong ginger dressing to creamy-style, but this was super tasty. We demolished our dishes. Presentation, service, value and quality--all excellent!

Had poor customer service. My husband almost choked on a piece of metal that was in our lamb. When the manager was informed all he did was ask if we where okay. He was made aware of the piece of metal, as he even told us it was from cleaning the grills. We still got charged our whole bill after finding metal in our meat. Shows that they do not care about the customer.

Atmosphere was cool, they have a roving photographer who was very cool and captured some awesome pictures of our anniversary dinner. The drinks were good, the food was alright. They don’t spare the butter, and they have a 20% “meat scarcity” markup at the moment which is a little bit uncool given the fact that the difference between a chicken vs vegetarian might be $2, but instead of $0.40 It’s %20 of the whole dish which ends up being a %150 markup of the protein Itself... A little dishonest, but I understand trying to make up for lost profits lately.

My wife and I are here recently while on vacation and the sushi was amazing! The menu was a bit overwhelming with sooo many choices so I went with the basics: sashimi, spider roll, and spicy rainbow roll; along with a calamari salad. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Service was outstanding as well. We will definitely be back!

Food was delicious! Sushi fresh but our server was non attentive, had to ask for things like more drinks (refills)... Sauces that that we asked for in the beginning of our order and then brings back an incorrect number.. Oh and it was pretty warm on the inside hence we went inside because it was Hot outside!

Wasn't terrible. Wasn't great. I asked for medium rare lamb chops and got medium. My wife and I got our drinks fairly quick. But the food took forever and it was Luke warm when served. Granted it was pretty busy, but that is no excuse when the prices are so high. Service does not match the price. This restaurant very clearly used to be great and has fell off over time. Good luck in the future. Make sure you dress nice too or you will get scorned... Lol too high class for a place right next to the beach. 👎👎👎

Hate to do it, because I love this place and the sushi, but today was such an epic fail. Three of us were seated for lunch, and there were three small parties that were right behind us. Not full or even close. Its been one hour, and other than being seated by the host...not even waters. Others who came in after us were getting attention, but not us, and our table was basically right in the middle of the restaurant. Maybe short staffing, who knows? But there is no excuse good enough to cover a total lack of attention to any customers in this situation. We're heasing up 50 blocks north to try Fortune. Maybe they'll have time to wait on us.

I visited Soho to pick up a a to-go order and I will definitely not be back, unless Joe is no longer working there. He treated his employees awfully, and reminded me why I hate working in the food industry. I hope that in the future, he will not publicly reprimand his employees, who were working very hard and doing their best on a busy night. Not only were his comments to his workers incredibly rude, but they were made in front of many guests in the lobby. We placed a to-go order that we later found out was put together by Joe, who was not on to-go duty, and the most expensive roll from our order was missing. If this had just been a simple mistake that is understandable, but I find it very ironic that he spent his time yelling at hardworking and kind employees while messing up on his tasks. Very unprofessional and rude.
